Elaine qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 1987, working in private practice before becoming Director of Legal and Regulatory Services at The Royal Bank of Scotland International. In 2005 Elaine qualified as a Jersey lawyer and became a partner of Mourant du Feu & Jeune in 2007.
