R3 Council

R3 Council members represent our wider membership and act as the board of directors for the association.

What council is

As representatives of our membership, R3 Council members act as ambassadors for R3 and are vital to the strategic decision-making process of R3. Council members, working together with the CEO, are responsible for the management of R3 and setting the strategy and policy direction of the organisation.

How to participate

Positions on Council are determined by member elections which are held annually prior to the R3 AGM each April.

Each R3 region has a dedicated Council member elected by members within their region. In addition, we have up to 16 national Council members who are elected by the wider membership.

R3 President

Council is chaired by the R3 President, who serves a one year term from the AGM in April.
