The R3 Technical Team have been made aware of several scams targeted at creditors of insolvency appointments. Creditors are being approached directly by companies offering them unrealistic and potentially unlawful opportunities. In one case a letter was purporting to be from HM Courts and Tribunals, and in another case a letter included a manipulated Companies House Form containing details of an IP.
These incidents have been reported to the Investigation and Enforcement Services Team at The Insolvency Service as cause for concern.
